A few of you might know me and Wilwarin Designs already. For those who don't, WD is my own handmade jewelry "brand", if I can call it that way. It's quite of a very recent
project and I cannot say I'm a professional crafter, but I love making
unique and special acessories with my own hands and creativity. During
the last few months, sitting at my (half-improvised) beading table is
all I think about every morning when I wake up. It is something which
has been keeping me busy in a healthy way.

During these past few months (well, since last year's September), my online and only display sources consisted on Wilwarin's first blog and Facebook page, both rich in content but both written in portuguese (as I am portuguese)... and however I was able to reach a good amount of local people - actually better than I was hoping for! - I started to struggle when foreign fans started to join my little corner. It got especially confusing after I - modesty aside - have won an international beading contest hosted by Beadaholique last January. It was a truly thrilling experience as some more people from all around the world were caught by my winning design and came for a visit at my fanpage. But well, I'm sure portuguese is not a well-known tongue. Of course, nowadays Facebook gives us automatic translations on posts and comments which are written in a different language, but I know they might not be a tiny bit accurate at some times. For a couple of weeks I used to be able to manage my fanpage's translations as an admin and would correct all those silly Bing mistakes myself. Then it seems that Facebook has removed that option... why! *sad face*

It is my goal to bring my work to the outside world. It might be a little bit fanciful but this is how I am; whimsical and a dreamer, just like I aim my own jewelry to be. I have this urge of sharing my dreams with the world and giving some inspiration away. And I wish that not only a small group, but everybody can have a good experience while browsing through my work and what I do... and so I've created an entire website and this blog, entirely composed in english, especially for you foreign fans and friends!
I might not be featuring all updates and new products in this blog. Most of them will stick to Facebook for now, through direct links to Etsy everytime I list a new item. But I will surely be writting about lots of more stuff, like my future plans, my inspiration, and even some of my own interests so that all of you can get to know me better... things which usually aren't shared on Facebook!
